Order statuses not updating automatically on Asaan Retail from Courier or Daraz

Hi, today we'll discuss the issue related to the "Order statuses not updating automatically on Asaan Retail from Courier or Daraz." You may face this error when you have booked your order with your integrated courier on Asaan Retail and the statuses are properly updated on your courier portal and on your Daraz seller account, but it's still in a "Pending or Ready to Ship" state in the Asaan Retail application.



Here are some reasons why orders are not updated on Asaan Retail. Let's discuss them in detail. Why may you face this issue and how to resolve it?


1) This issue may occur because you haven't turned on the toggle when integrating your courier with Asaan Retail. Turn on this toggle as highlighted in the image below.




2) Another reason why order statuses are not updated on Asaan Retail is that you may not have enough stock on Asaan Retail.








In order to resolve this issue, You have to update the stock on Asaan Retail through purchase orders or by adjusting the stock or inventory.


i) Once, you're done with it. Click on the sales order screen. On the right hand side of the screen, there's a dropdown named "More." Click on it.



ii) Click on the "Sync with Daraz" (in case you want to update Daraz Order's Statuses, which were updated on your Daraz Seller Account but not on Asaan Retail) and if you want to update the statuses of your website orders that were sent via courier, you have to select "Sync with Courier" from the dropdown.


 


iii) After that, the popup will be displayed on the screen. Select the courier from the dropdown in the case of specific couriers, or if you want to update the status of all of the couriers, select the "All" option from the dropdown.





iv) In order to update the status of your "Daraz Orders" after adjusting or creating the purchase order, you have to select the "Sync with Daraz" option. After that, the prompt will appear on the screen. Click on the "Yes, sync now" button in order to update the status of your Daraz stores.
