How to Add Product's Stock (or Inventory) in Asaan Retail?

Hello, today we'll discuss "how you can add products to stock inventory" in Asaan Retail.

There are two ways to add the inventory in Asaan Retail:


1) By Purchase Orders: By creating a purchase order you can easily add the inventory in Asaan Retail.

2) By Stock Count: By using the stock count functionality you can add the inventory in Asaan Retail.

Here are the steps that you have to perform in order to add the product's stock or inventory in your application.

i) On the right hand side of the product's screen, there's an option named "Stock Count" in the "more" dropdown. Select it.

ii) After clicking on stock count, the prompt or pop-up will appear. Select the location from the dropdown where you want to adjust or add the stock.

iii) Then, download the template.

iv) After downloading the CSV, open it. You can use the "updated sellable quantity" column in order to add the inventory in Asaan Retail.

Note: Do not write the quantities in the "Current Sellable Quantity" column. Update the quantities in the "Updated Sellable Quantity" column. Also, always add the inventory to the previous or existing count. For example, if you have 35 units and you want to add more "5" inventory, it should be added to the existing inventory.

As you can see here, the current sellable is 35. If you want to add 5 more quantities so it'll be 35+5 = 40.

v) After that, save the file and upload it to Asaan Retail.

vi) After uploading it, the stock will be updated on Asaan Retail.


3) By Adjustments: By using the adjustment feature you can also add the inventory in Asaan Retail. 

i) Click on the pencil or edit icon.

ii) Click on the "Adjust Stock" button in order to adjust your inventory. 

iii) Then, add or adjust your stock in the form of an increment or decrement. Provide the reason for the adjustment. After that, click on the save button.

iv) The stock will be added.
