Overview

In this article we will cover:

How to fetch API details from WooCommerce for integration

To fetch details of API from Woocommerce:

Step 1: Log in to your WooCommerce account.

Step 2: Click on the WooCommerce option in the left panel and from the dropdown menu click on the settings option.

Step 3: In the setting window, go to the Advance panel > Select Rest API > Then select ‘Add Key’
 Note: If you have already generated a key the select your key from the table.

Step 4: Fill in the required details and hit the "Generate API Key" button.

• Permissions to Read/Write (for two-way synchronization)
  
  

Step 5: Note/Copy your API credentials for integrations i.e. ‘Consumer key’ and ‘Consumer secret’

How to Integrate/Connect your WooCommmerce store in Asaan Retail?

Step 1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.

Step 2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the left and click the settings icon.

Or you can access settings by typing Settings in the search bar on the top.

Step 3: In the new window, click on the Integrations tab.

Step 4: Scroll down to find the WooCommmerce panel. Click on the WooCommmerce panel.

Step 5: In the pop-up window, enter your:

• Store Nickname - Mandatory
• API Details
  • API URL
  • Consumer Key
  • Consumer Secret

Step 6: Click on "Test connection", and then click on "Save."

Advanced Settings

You can also turn on different Advanced features while integrating your WooCommmerce store, such as:

    1. Push Fulfillment Status to WooCommmerce - To update the order status on WooCommmerce whenever the order status changes in Asaan Retail.

    2. Take Stock - To take stock from all your Asaan Retail locations/from a specific location (stock will be exported from the location you provide). This feature is only applicable when stock will be synced.

• Option 1: 'All’ locations

Use Case - when you want to manage the WooCommerce products and their respective stocks from all locations/warehouses, regardless of where they are located.

Use Case - when you want to manage the WooCommerce products and their respective stocks from certain locations/warehouses) -> Multi-select checkbox.

    3. Sync Stock to WooCommmerce - It helps you automatically sync the inventory levels to WooCommmerce after every 15 Minutes.

    4. Auto Import Orders from WooCommmerce - To import orders from WooCommmerce to Asaan Retail after every 15 Minutes.

• On the selected location
• Or, the default location

    3. Update Price on WooCommmerce - To update the price on WooCommmerce Store by making changes in Asaan Retail.

    4. On Import, Update Product on Asaan Retail - This feature helps users import products from WooCommmerce, & on finding a similar SKU, the product details (name, price, description, etc) will be automatically updated on Asaan Retail.

You can also turn these Advanced features active later on as well.

Step 6: After adding all your details and API attributes, click on "Test Connection" and "Save it."
