Overview

Courier integration in Asaan Retail helps you automate your order fulfillment process and push delivery status to your Shopify or WooCommerce marketplace (if Order Status Sync is enabled). Integrating courier service with your Asaan Retail platform ensures smooth and hassle-free sales cycles without manually changing the order status in Asaan Retail or different sales fronts.

Some of the significant features and use cases of integrating courier with your Asaan Retail account include:

  • Keep order statuses synced on Shopify or Woocommerce stores.
  • Send SMS and email updates of order status to customers.
  • Reconcile payments and finances with the courier.
  • Track order status
  • Bulk booking with Couriers
  • Print shipping labels & invoices in bulk

How to fetch API details from your TRAX account?

Step 1: Login on https://sonic.pk/cod/login with your username & password.



Step 2: Choose the option ‘Profile’ from the dropdown menu at the top-right.



Step 3: Choose the tab ‘Profile Information’ under the ‘User Information’ heading.



Step 4: Navigate to the bottom and copy the ‘API Key.’



How to integrate your TRAX COD account?

Step-1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.

Step-2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the left and click the settings icon (3rd from the bottom).



Or you can access settings by typing ‘Settings’ in the search bar on the top.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Integrations’ tab.



Step 4: Scroll down and find the TRAX courier panel. Click on the TRAX courier panel.



Step 5: In the pop-up window, enter your:

  • Name - Mandatory
  • Email - Optional
  • Mobile no - Optional
  • Landline no - Optional
  • Address - Optional 
  • API Details
    • Email - Mandatory
    • Authorization Key - Mandatory

Step 6: After adding all your details and API attributes, click on Test Connection.

Step 7: If the connection establishes successfully, click on the Save button.



Your TRAX COD account will be integrated successfully.

How to Ship an Order with TRAX

Step 1: Create a sales order and update its delivery status to RTS.

Step 2: Select the order(s) and click the “Bulk Actions” button on the right. Then, click “Book with the courier” from the drop-down menu.



Step 3: In the pop-up window, choose the courier using the name you saved as your courier account. Then, click “Book.”



Your orders will be booked with the courier.

Note: If it fails to book couriers successfully, check the notification bar and download the report to identify the error(s). Fix the error(s) as directed (such as missing shipping data, missing parcel/product(s) weight, the order in the pending state, etc.)



Step 4: Complete the sales order lifecycle manually or Sync with the courier.

You also book the order with a courier individually by clicking on the order number > Courier tab > Select the courier > click the ‘Select’ button.



Fill in the Shipment Details (Consignee Details and Parcel Details):



Note: Do not enter irreverent letters, alphabets or numbers in the address field, as it'll cause an error in parcel booking. 

Moreover, please select correct "Mode of collecting shipping charges" from dropdown on right panel of the screen. If you're unsure what's the correct "Mode of collecting shipping charges", please select the "Reimbursement" option from the dropdown as most of the Trax accounts are on this option by default.


Fill in the ‘Consignee Email’ and ‘Item Description’ under Consignee Details. If not available, enter ‘N/A’.



Fill in the ‘Weight (KG)’ and ‘Special Instructions’ under Parcel Details. If not available, enter ‘N/A.’



On successful booking, you will be assigned ‘Tracking ID’:



The booked order will also be available under the Order Details section on Sonic Portal.

 

You can also check the shipment's current status and cancel the booking by clicking on the order number > Courier tab. For instance:
