Add a Service Product

• Step-1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.
• Step-2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the right > click the Inventory tab > Click on the Products tab from the dropdown menu. 
• Step 3: In the new window dedicated to the products management, Click +Create on the top-left corner.
• Step 4: In the pop-up window, click Service to add a service product.
• Step 5: Enter all the details in relevant fields like:
• Step 6: Add a relevant product picture. (Optional)
• Step 7: Click Create & your new product will be listed in the Products profile.
• You can also edit your service product by:
  • Step 1: Click on the product name or picture
  • Step 2: Click on the Edit tab (on the top-right corner) to change or alter product attributes. 
  • Step 3: Make necessary changes. For example, change the selling price. 
  • Step 4: Click the Update button on the bottom-left corner of the pop-up window. Your changes will be saved and appear in the product profile.

Overview
To create a new Service Product in Asaan Retail:

Step-1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.

Step-2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the right > click the Inventory tab > Click on the Products tab from the dropdown menu. 

OR you can access Products using the Search bar on top by typing Products.

Step 3: In the new window dedicated to the products management, Click +Create on the top-left corner.

Step 4: In the pop-up window, click Service to add a service product.

A new pop-up window will appear like the one below:

Step 5: Enter all the details in relevant fields like:

• SKU (Mandatory)
• Product Name (Mandatory)
• Product Category (Mandatory)
• Description (Optional)
• Product Type (Select Service Product)
• Variations (Optional)
• Barcode (Optional)
• Cost Price (Mandatory)
• Selling Price (Mandatory)
• Re-order Threshold (Optional)
• Weight (Optional)
  
  

Step 6: Add a relevant product picture. (Optional)

Step 7: Click Create & your new product will be listed in the Products profile.

You can also edit your service product by:

Step 1: Click on the product name or picture

Step 2: Click on the Edit tab (on the top-right corner) to change or alter product attributes. 

Step 3: Make necessary changes. For example, change the selling price. 

Step 4: Click the Update button on the bottom-left corner of the pop-up window. Your changes will be saved and appear in the product profile.

Note: You don’t need to manage stock levels for service products as there is no specific quantity for the service product and its overall availability is linked with the availability of resources and time.
